Tongue weight is about 10% of trailer weight. I had a 350 lb dry weight trailer and after oading I had about 40 lb tongue weight. And had 20 lb. air pressure in the tires.

They go to to the muffler bracket mount hole below passenger footpegs. Verticals go the the saddle bag mount bracket.

I have a sidecar and hauled a trailer on 1982 . On hills you may have to 4th gear. Seldom had to go to 3rd. doug

Mudflaps are actually off a GL1100, were popular in the 80's and later.

I have a Back off Mud flap (Yosemite Sam) off a GL100. Asking $20 + shipping. Different mudflap, with chrome trim, may have had a reflector on so will need something $10 + shipping. Doug

Yes you need to run it through a relay . I have Harbor freight chrome colored horns, $10.95 the pair. Installed the relay and they work very well. Use the horn button to energize the relay .

Used to ride all winter with my 81 Wing/sidecar rig. Used 5w-30 oil. Would go down to 0 degrees, usually started. But that was 20 years ago in MN. I now live in AZ and don't do that anymore. Doug

You don't have to grow old mentally, keep riding. I'm 76 and still ride, '82 Wing/sidecar and a 1981 Suzuki GS550T for 2 wheels. I'm on my 3rd GL1100 as they are fairly easy to repair and being retired for 14 years I have to be somewhat thrifty. Use the bikes as a second car or pickup truck...

I installed the Harbor Freight $10 horns last June. Seem to be working fine.
