Honda GL1000 (75) Triumph Bonneville (71)
Hey, I just introduced myself in the New Member section the other day. We're working on a GL1000, and I thought it was a 75, but the wheels look like they are later model wheels. They could have been replaced of course.

The bikes serial number is: GLIE-1012446

I thought that was a '75, but did I decipher incorrectly? Edit: would probably help if I included a photo.

Hi,
Frame number is from 1975......first series..called "GL1000 K0"
Congratulation about that.
Wheels, saddle, steering handle and some small parts not OEM-K0......
Enjoy.....!

Ok, so I did look at it correctly! Yes, the handlebars are definitely aftermarket and it has a Corbin saddle. I believe we have the original. Thanks for the verification!

The 2 hardest K0 pieces for me to find when I restored my K0 were the OE handlebars and the rear grab rail. Finished my K0 in 2007, and sold it in 2010. Still have 3 parts bikes and not one OE grab rail to speak of, lol!
