    GL1000 1978 seat

I have an original 77 seat I’ll take a look at tomorrow and asses the condition and let you know. I also have a cherry set of 77 original mufflers. As far as that goes I have and original 77 parts bike kinda rough but all the parts are there. You might want to check shipping charges to Oz...

    Slabghost (Vince’s) wife

I haven’t been on here much the last few months and am just now seeing that V has passed. I shall miss my conversations with him, always thought highly of him and his humor. RIP my friend. Wish I could help but health and distance prevent me doing so.

Seems the compound hardens up with more age and heat cycles causing traction to fade. Still good tire as long as your aware of the loses caused by those two factors. It’s a trade off. I’ve had traction save me twice

    1986 Interstate ignition

PG’s on 85 through 87 model 1200’s are behind the timing belt covers, look for a plug coming out from the top of th cover and the block that has a white/yellow and yellow lead for cyl 1&2 and a white/blue and blue lead for cyl 3&4.

Shinko SE890 Journey Touring Tire performance reports

I know nobody asked for it but here’s my two cents. It’s nice and well to have tires that last forever but you pay for the mileage up front when you buy that tire. One of the reasons you pay that premium price is to limit the labor or cost in putting that tire on the bike and that makes sense...

    white 4-150 ATV project

Sounds like a hell of a ride Joe. I know the feeling your talking about, I left the highway at over 80 mph in a big rig, loaded with 44,000 lbs of grout about midnight one night and the 1/4 mile length of travel during the accident seemed like it took an hour when it was actually only seconds...
