    fuel pumps for 1200's?

    Came to the conclusion my fuel pump MAY be the cause of my new 84 not running as strong as my old 84. Pump on the old one, pumps much faster than the new one does. :headscratch: RockAuto, has Beck/Arnley 1520775's on close out for $20.09 + shipping, ordered 2 for less than $50.00, little bit...

    1200 shock rebuild,with progressive springs

    Decided to upgrade shocks on new to me 84 standard,with new seals & progressive springs,as can't afford new shocks from them. In the process of blowing out seal,lost the thin retaining ring that stops the guide bushing for the seal,from going too far in when shock hits a bump.head bang: Any one...

    Saw something about making a modification to your stock trigger wheel, to advance your timing. Lost the site, can't seem to find it, didn't get to read it either. :sensored: Was wondering if the 85-87 could also be advanced the same way??? :headscratch: Any assistance would be appreciated...

    trunk won't open on my gl1500

    Replaced rear light bar, (stock one) on my 91 1500 trunk, all looked well, so I closed trunk lid. Won't open, now, Bag's work fine. Must have bumped something, probably something simple. How can you open lid if lever's don't work??? Anyone with a solution?

    Damper plate elimination

    Can't rember where I saw it, but it was possible to eliminate the damper plate,with two steel plates. One where damper plate goes,the other on which end of stack?
