This was a really great ride. From the Upper Peninsula to the Tunnel of Trees. Unfortunately, no one came from this site, too bad - you missed out on a lot of great riding and meeting fellow riders. None-the-less, goto to the goldwingdocs site to view pictures.

Ride is just a couple of weeks away. This will be an epic ride, one you will regret if you miss it! There are only 2 rooms left, don't dilly-dally...

Of course the trailer will fit as the site has plenty of parking and open spaces. There are still cabins and tent sites available. However, there are not many left, so if you are considering coming, make a reservation. You can always cancel it if you find that you can't attend. :yes:

The ride is planned for Wednesday July 10th to Sunday July 14th. Generally, Wednesday is when attendees start arriving, although some arrive Thursday and others on Friday. One day will be riding in the middle to Eastern UP, another day to the south western (Wisconsin??) and the third day...

For those that wish to camp there are camp grounds nearby. The above motel is for those that don't wish to haul tents and stuff and prefer to stay in a room (with showers, wi-fi, pool, etc.). The motel is "ground central" and will meet here prior to each day's ride.

First of all, the early GoldWings got terrible MPG compared to today's bikes. 23 MPG is low, expect low 30's. I typically get 32-35 MPG depending whether I'm riding in town or on the Interstate.

Like the title says: I'm looking for a rear trunk that isn't cracked and generally complete. Doesn't have to be pristine, box will be painted. Passenger pad if missing, isn't a deal breaker. Keys would certainly be appreciated. :beg:
