Finally took my 1200 on a spin around town.after running at 35-40 mph it started missing and spitting real bad.got it home and pulled the plugs and they were black and real sooty.so,which jet should i change first,pilot or main.your input is appreciated.

I installed the manifold and carb I got off ebay today.the manifold is a very nice piece and I got it for 80 bucks,the manifold seller recommended a solex carb seller and I got the carb for 55 dollars.preliminary results are good.the manifold requires 1100 carb horns,no problem there at...

im finally at the point where im ready to install my carbs back on the bike.question is,do i set the air/ fuel mixture with a vacuum gauge first or do i sync the carbs first and then check air/fuel mixture second?thanks
