    Doesn't seem right!

    I just bought an 81 GL1100 with 12K and hasn't been ridden in 18 years. I went over it carefully, ordered new timing belts, oil filter, drained gas tank and refilled with non-alcohol 91 octane and 8oz of Seafoam.I took it out on the highway and it ran fairly smoothly but I don't think it is...

    Howdy!!

    I'm Lowrider and I'm the proud new owner of a GL1100 born in 1981. It hasn't been ridden in 18 years and has 12K and almost most showroom nice. Anyway, glad to be here and there is a lot great info on the site.
