    Well Dave, lots of folks run those Randakk Oil Filter adapters with chrome filters with no problems. I have one on a GL1100 83 Aspencade and a CB750 and have never had a leak.     :head bang: Silicone NEVER works around fuel(y) parts....FYI for future reference. Garse just turns it into little putty balls. Very Bad on gaskets to fuel parts of engines.....
