I'm looking at progressive springs for the forks on my 83 GL1100 std. I have TRAC ft. forks and I seem to recall an exploded view of the fork shows 2 springs. If this is correct do the progressive springs replace both stock springs or just the top spring? Thanks.

Have sent the carbs off to Mike for a rebuild so have time to do some upgrades. Bike is an 83 Std. and was thinking about some sportier handlebars and replacing the air suspension. Any suggestions?
