    Changing up my GL1000

Any idea what the tire sizes are on this bike? This is exactly the look that I'd like to give to my '79 restoration project.

It was quite helpful. Thanks for sending this. I truly appreciate it.

    Engine Stand

Here's what I came up with.... Because everything is bolted together and not welded, the engine supports are reversible allowing the engine to be mounted in either direction. The engine cradle can also be broken down into its separate components for easy storage. I used 7 feet of 1-1/2" x .12"...

    Engine Stand

I'm making some modifications to the designs that were in the photos that will allow the engine to be mounted in either direction. When I get the finished design fabricated I'll post some photos.

    Engine Stand

Does anyone know who makes an engine stand to support a GL1000, GL1100, GL1200, or otherwise? Thanks.

    Engine Stand

Does anyone know if there’s an engine stand made for our Goldwing engines? I have a GL1000 and need to pull the engine to work on it. Thanks.

I just picked up a 1979 GL1000 (this is first my first Goldwing) that wasn't getting spark to cylinders 3 and 4. It has an old Martek electronic ignition in it and when I tested it the side feeding those two cylinders was bad. I bought a used unit off of eBay and installed it and that resolved...
