Nothing to it, if the sidecar wasn't there could do that it on the ground if needed. Just removed the hose and took off the 3 8mm bolts and did it at the bench

Not a fan of the hydro clutch. So far, I would not claim the 1200 has anything on the 1100s. In fact the 1200s are a little to gadgety for me.

86 1200 Aspy with Hyd clutch. If I held clutch in to long the bike would start to creep. I bled out the clutch and was good for a short time but it came back. This weekend I rebuilt the slave and bled it again. All was good again for a short time, but problem came back. I do not seem to loose...

Rebuilt the slave on my 1200. Hard to get around the sidecar so I went under. Made simple work of it. Brothers hoist not mine. (Fixed pic orientation, DF)

Can anyone tell me the number for the bulbs of the 2 running light bulbs on either side of the headlight on my 86 1200 Aspy? I would like to have bulbs in hand when I take it apart to change a bad one. Any good LED options?

That's not it but thanks for the link. The one needed is a one piece from bike to helmet. Not sure the pin configuration.

Update. I stripped the bike back to naked, went through all the mechanicals and enjoyed it solo for year last year. But without the sidecar, not enough. The leaner dream was getting more difficult the deeper I got into it. I alone am just not enough of a fabricator, others where afraid of...

More important, it is catylised. Fuel and sun resistant.

I prefer keeping up on the polishing over clear coating. But if clear is what your after Google 2k spray max. It is a 2 part clear in an aresol can. Just puncture the catylist bladder and good to go. Top quality clear in a simple spray can. Not mess no clean up. After trying it on some less...

Not happy with the size of my American Eagle spirit sidecar with the wing. Although it has done well for previous owner for years, it is nowhere what my old terraplane was. (Never sell anything!!) I have been studying and considering converting it to a semi leaner. (Bike leans, sidecar doesn't)...
