Probably, if wrapped in to protect the chrome.

I had a car exhaust shipped to me this year, arrived just fine, no damage to any exhaust hangers.

The set I sent to Gerry, I wrapped in bubble wrap. Worked well.
Yep, they shipped with no issues or breakage.

BUT, now I have a hole in one of them and looks like I might have to do a patch.

If you don't mind me asking, what happened?
 
Age, use and left outside for 2 winters. I had the bike under cover, but changes in temp, rain, snow and still using the bike during that weather cause moisture to lay in the bottom of the pipes just past the crossover pipe. It is a common failure point on 1100 exhaust.
