1984 Rear Brake Question

I have a 1984 Goldwing Standard. I did some work on cleaning the rear caliper earlier. Cleaning it up, replacing pads. It worked pretty well for one ride. Now a few days later, when I press the rear brake pedal all the way down, the brakes do not engage, or at least very very little. I can definitely press the brake pedal all the way down with almost no resistance.

Could I have loosened some of the linkage accidently somehow? I am not sure what to check for here. (I never disconnected the brake line, so air in the system would not be my first guess.)

I would bleed it and see what happens

Sounds like it could be a bad seal in the master cylinder, but I’d try bleeding first also.
