Has anyone used their carb kits?are they comparable in quality to randakks?thanks

No. And, I doubt it. But! Randakk kits contain 100% Viton seals. I'm not a fan of Viton unless for ozone, radiation, or high temperature resistance. I prefer Buna-N.

Let me ask this.4into1's kits include new jets and jet needles and randakks don't.which ones would you buy for your wing

What’s your aversion to Viton?

I've used o-rings for close over 50 years. Viton is great for ozone resistance and fantastic for temperature (up to 200 C!) resistance. Pretty good for UV and radiation resistance. BUT it is not great at resilience. It "takes a set" when compressed and doesn't rebound as well as Buna-N. So, in our motorcycle use it is primarily good for higher temperature applications (of which there are none in the carbs over Buna-N's 100 C upper limit). For vacuum system use, I really prefer Buna-N (Nitrile) strongly unless the system is to be baked. For the rest of the machine it would be Ok for the water system except there are a lot of joints in it that cycle compression with temperature, so I'd stick with Buna-N there. I see no advantage to Viton in the float valve tips, but it seems that other than Honda's the only quality ones are Viton. Doesn't mea I wouldn't use a Viton o-ring if I have them on-hand but if there is equal quality and both available I'd prefer Buna-N. That said, I use Randakk petcock repair parts because they are the best I've seen so far. Very nicely molded. The o-rings in their kits are properly sized and look to be quality. Still, if the same Buna-N o-ring is available, I'd prefer it.

BTW, many rebuilders recommend to not use the replacement jets in favor of using the originals after proper cleaning. I agree with that (as long as the originals are not damaged).

I used it on mine. No problems, but note the air cutoff valves and accelerator pump kit is separate.

It also doesn't include some o-rings for the carb body to plenum connection. I had to source those separately.

But I did use their valves and seats and have noticed no issues. My original valves were shot.

It would seem for simplicitys sake,to go with randakks kits.

I have used Viton in rear main seals quite successfully but that is an extreme use area. I also replaced the intake horn Orings with Viton replacements from Redeye for the Valkyrie. The main reason I used them was because of their lack of compression and hopefully their longevity. That being said the original Honda Orings did last for 20years on the Valkyrie.

And those original Honda o-rings were Buna-N. Actually, the intake-to-head joint may be the one joint that needs the high temperature capabilities of Viton.

I've recently got the "deluxe" carb kit from 4into1... Came with everything and probably more than I need.
However, going by some very highly regarded carb builders that specialise in our carbs... Gl, CX CBX6 VF's... They say that the jets/hardware etc should never need replacing due to Honda's quality build. So I've pretty much only used the accelerator pump, air cut off valves and required Orings.
I haven't yet finished my carbs and won't be able to comment much further until my 81 wing is back up and running. They may all turn out to be crap... Hope not and touch wood they are OK.....
I have given all the carb bodies a full strip down. Shafts and butterflies out. Chucked in my ultrasonic cleaning bath, followed up with carb/injector cleaner followed by copious amounts of compressed air...

I bought their kits and they are nice.I did use their pilot jets,so we'll see how it goes if I ever get them back together.
