Hi folks.

I have a 1984 GL1200 Standard model and am having a hard time finding the following stuff:

-- Original-style cloth-reinforced fuel hoses that run from the fuel pump to the carbs and gas tank. I'd prefer the OEM hose (or a replica) black with red stripe.

-- Left side exhaust - chrome headers (just the chrome heat shields)

-- OEM or replica Service Info Tticker that goes on the lower right frame tube (U.S. model)

-- Short brake hose attached to the Rear master cylinder -- OEM or equivalent

-- Faux tank lids in Candy Wineberry color -- should be perfect or near-perfect

By the way, YES I HAVE checked eBay, Craigslist, Randakks and all the Honda parts lists. Either the items are old and trashed or "new" and out of stock/discontinued.

Any suggestions?

THANKS!

Paul

On the brake hose,do you mean the hose on the reservoir?

Correct!

It goes from the rear brake reservoir to the junction where the two steel brake lines split off to the front and rear calipers.

Thx

I'm confused, but if its all rubber.look up gatesrubbercompany on the net.they make rubber hose that is brake fluid compatible.

Got it, Dusterdude.

True, the Gates hoses would work fine -- maybe even better than stock -- but they wouldn't have that 1980s from-the-factory look. (The OEM hose is wrapped in old-fashioned braided cloth, sort of like the 'Wing's OEM fuel lines.)

Yes, I'm probably overthinking it -- especially for something that isn't even visible when the body panels are in place.

Thx

Paul
