Best tyres for 1200 aspy

G'day all from Perth western Australia.
This question has probably been done to death... But... I'm taking delivery soon of an 86 1200 aspy...33000kms on clock... And probably either the 2nd or 3rd set of tyres in its life still on it.
Needless to say....along with timing belts... Tires will need replacing.
So.. Let me have it... Open the can or worms..... What tyre has everyone experienced good performance and mileage from...

Best tires for my '85 Limited Edition - Michelin Commander II - 30K Kms. Second best Shinko Tourmasters, haven't worn out a set yet, but won't equal the Michellin.

Confirmed... Ships from over east-Sydney to Perth... On the 30th. Should get here mid June.
Organised michelin tyres thru a family bike shop. Commander III's.
With only 33000km on clock... Less kms than my 01 blackbird.
