once i left the church it was a half mile ride to m-39, i took m-39 south taking it easy cause it is a known speed trap with a 55mph speed limit though most are doing 65mph or more. seeing i got a later start i stayed on the expressway and took I-94 west then I-275 south, the folks on I-275 don't play around an are always doing 75mph plus. i was cruising along at 75mph when some guy on a harley dresser went flying by. i didn't try and catch him i just wanted to keep him in sight so i stepped it up to 80mph. we both ended up going south on I-75, i lost sight of him but spotted him again on I-280. i wanted to take the turn pike to make sure that my I-pass was working and there he was again, he ran that harley hard getting on I-80 but it was a waste of time. the Mighty ST 1300 reeled him in and walked by him at 85mph, he didn't want to play catch up so that was the last i saw of him. i exited the turn pike at the route 53 so i could go into port clinton a different way. i made a few stops while there

leaving the park i made a right turn on the first paved road i saw, that got me on front street in toledo. i took front street to main street looking for a mural but didn't see it so once i got out to us-24 i made a right turn and headed for michigan. i had 234 miles on the north end of monroe, mi. so i stopped for gas and a cold drink, it was just some green tea but it was ice cold and felt good going down in all the heat. i picked up I-275 and headed north for I-94, M-39 and home. a 272 mile day
