clutch question

Hello everyone!! New to the forum. My first question is a simple one. I need to know the clutch pressure plate spring torque specs on 83 gl1100i.Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

I have heard that question before and the answer was was "kinda tight"...I hope someone know but with springs involved it takes away the normal size=torque method.

Welcome from Southern California! The manual says 7 Ft.Lbs. Be sure to get the two bolts that are different back into the right holes! See page 9-5 of the clutch section in the GL1100 Repair Manual - in the Gallery.
