I have a 24ft pontoon boat in the garage. Think about how many Gold Wings I could store if I sold the boat!! I've threatened to sell it a few times and have been over-ruled by the boss. If only she had the same passion for Gold Wings!!

It may be free, but you will pay for it in the end.

Oh and Gerry, my first cruise was great, until they started to land airplanes on the roof or the ship!

There is a 44 year old runabout in my back driveway that I bought from a man that died 15 years before I bought the boat. Have you ever sent a registered letter to a dead person just so the post office would stamp "Addressee Deceased" on the envelope? I sent the franked envelope and a title application to the State of Illinois and had a good title 6 weeks later.

"It's a strange, strange world we live in, Master Jack"

70 degrees here tomorrow.

The more I look at it, the more that free Chris Craft is looking like a deal for someone willing to spend another $6000 to get her into shape!

definition- boat - hole in water into which you pour endless amounts of money
two happiest days for a boat owner. The day he bought his boat and the day he sold the damn thing.

a kyack is the only cost effective boat ... runs on cheerios and fish if your good it makes geat fishing machine with trailing lines ...fish get caught it pulls on the boat just like pole ... makes for cheap per pound fish ...lol fishing the joedrum way ...currently done and perfected by jonas ... man he can bring home the fish... but job has really cut the bounty down ...

it very nice to live on lake where you can walk a kyack to water  or just fish fron bank or wade fish also

I only had a 12 foot row boat and that is how I felt!

Looking around I guess free is about right..I haven't looked in boats for sale ever so I started shopping and find them really cheap running and ready...
I guess if the trashman took boats I would see them curbside. Kinda sad considering the manufacturing cost and to those that paid for them.

Iffin it ain't a DRAG BOAT, I ain't interested.... :ahem:

But where`s she gonna sit.

I'm sure one could be arranged!

The thing about a boat is that it takes a lot of your spending money to keep going so you really have to want to spend the money and enjoy whatever you get from the boat (similar to our riding). The boat is way more expensive in every way than our bikes, but for some, there is no comparison.

Me, I would only own a boat that could earn an income and pay for itself while enjoying sailing it wherever it needs to go to make buck!
