GL1000 paint

Hi , just wondering if anyone can advise ,I am painting my GL a candy apple red , and have decals , but im not sure if the fuel gauge decal would be clear coated , I possibly think not . ? Opinions please .cheers .

Thanks Andrew , good to know , it's a different type of decal , like thicker , also I'll see how much gloss it's got when it's finally got all the stuff peeled off . I have to wait till it warms up getting into winter here now . Cheers
