Halogen headlight bulb- what do you recommend?

My old eyes need more light! :shock: What do you suggest for a quick upgrade? I've used Silverstars in my 4-wheelers and I like them. Before I pop for one I figured I'd ask here. I do plan to add some more lighting but for now a new bulb is a good start. While I'm on it, is there any way to boost the brightness of the gauges? I could use more on those too.

Quickest upgrade is higher wattage

Silverstars are nice and require very little modification. Maybe a couple relays. Bright LEDs are available for gauges.

Keep in mind also that the reflector in your headlight is over 30 years old....I replaced mine with a new headlight (Harley :shock: ) and it's good with a standard 55 watt lowbeam.....
