Ok that's what I was wondering I'm always Leary of dissembler metals iv seen them old idi diesels the destruction of electrolysis done plenty of head gaskets but the ones I ordered don't look like the have a sealing coatingSome do, some don't. I have the spray, but haven't used it. There should be no corrosion issue.
ding ding ding. i chase threads and use moly on bolts.Clean, flat head and block surfaces plus proper torque (many use moly on bolts and washers) are the key to leak-tite head gaskets, in my experience.
I think you're fine either way, but I do use it because I feel that it's void filling properties are worth the effort, and I've ridden very hard in the 8000 rpm plus with a hot engine and never blown. So copper spray or none service Manuel doesn't confirm that's really the only question I have
Thanks man I definitely will use it I've done a lot of head gaskets over the years some say use/don't use but I always make sure and copper spray questions are like pulling teeth lol I wish felpro offered a permatorque gasket for these bikes they are hands down the best gaskets and they seal fantasticI think you're fine either way, but I do use it because I feel that it's void filling properties are worth the effort, and I've ridden very hard in the 8000 rpm plus with a hot engine and never blown.
Blew Head Gaskets Twice from Copper Sprayed. That’s it I’m going to try Brush on will figure it out Thanks.I think you're fine either way, but I do use it because I feel that it's void filling properties are worth the effort, and I've ridden very hard in the 8000 rpm plus with a hot engine and never blown.
