Hiya I've had various goldwing in various guises over the years from a gl1000 upto the 1500 valkyrie .I have just bought a restoration project to keep me busy it's a 1977 Gl1000 wish me luck .I'm based in the uk

Welcome! Looks like you have one with all of the common "enhancements" - K&Q seat, fairing, alternate "grab bar", painted engine parts. Let me suggest that you do a rescue rather thatn a restoration. '77 was a good year - a few refinements of the original GL1000, while keeping its classic look. Now - CHANGE YOUR BELTS!
