I'm going to take Crystal to a highly recommended shop nearby. I talked with the general manager for a while and got a really good feeling about the guy and the business in general. I'm getting my own parts(Honda OEM) because I just didn't want anything else. It'll run me under $300, and since there will be a little more $ left over in my budget I'm going to have them sync the carbs while they are in there. George and I could have done this but in case you haven't heard we have been in an "extreme heat warning" for the last 10 days...and the wife okay'd the $$$ so why not let someone else do it. :ahem:

Yeah, this is why I opted for the easy way out...to those of you who can do anything and everything with their bikes it will seem like the easy way out, but I can't afford for anything to go wrong. I live in an apartment, I don't have a garage of my own, my wife does not share my passion and quite frankly it's been almost of three weeks w/o riding and it's killing me. I'll say that again it's IT'S KILLING ME!...*sigh* I'm sorry...did I mention it's killing me? They say the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. I just need to get back on the road. I have two hobbies my PC and my bike and just my PC isn't getting it. I've been watching videos of other people riding on YouTube and it helps but not much...if I've let you down I'm sorry, I just need, really need to get back on the road. Can a man's need to ride rival that of those who need to ride and can do anything needed to keep their own bikes on the road? I say yes. The need to ride can't be measured in mechanical ability. Anyway...if I've let you down I apologize, I just want to ride. :crying:

I know the feeling Randy. I go on youtube just to hear the sound of a nicely tuned Wing running. But I will not be defeated! the beast will sound like that one day, (I hope soon), and I will cruise the desert and I will give her a name. :rocks: :rocks: :rocks:

Let me tell you, I spent the last two evenings in the garage doing some minor things, and it was not fun. I'm putting off the valves, plugs, and oil until the temps and humidity drop a little! :heat:
