New to me GL1000 in homestead

Hello everyone. I just purchased a 76 GL1000 with 47k miles. Previous owner did plenty of maintenance and I have all the records on it. This will be my first vintage bike and definitely my first bike that has a carb. Any tips and tricks to keep this beauty up and running for the long run ID greatly appreciate it.
