GL1100
Hi all,
I bought an 81 GL1100. I'm looking forward to restoring it. I'll be reaching out for advice. Carbs are off and ready for rebuild. I hope to have it on the road by summer. I'm looking forward to connecting with everyone.

I understand your enthusiasm. I purchased a 1984 Aspencade trike a few years back and have been doing the same to it ever since. The original purchase price was $2,000.00 I have since put about 20K into it in maintenance, restoration and many upgrades, You have to love the darn thing or leave it while you still have some sanity (and money) left!:ROFLMAO:

Welcome achilles1971, you've come to the right place. Just in case you are new to keihin carbs, don't toss the brass carb parts during a rebuild. Nothing but oem is a good choice for jets and needles, clean them and reuse. In spite of the high cost, randakks is the best source for carb rebiuld parts.
