I'm quite surprised as well. Lots of good comments. Mine has a lot of extra, shiny farkles.

Here is how it looks at night with the lighting. Wouldn't have done this myself. but these are installed so I will live with it. Have to find out how everything is wired so I can add an on/off switch.

Came with the bikes these lights did. Will find how these are wired and install a switch. Pretty sometimes, but not all the time.

Oh Geez, you're absolutely right. And there's no OFF switch on that one.

No offense taken - son-in-law calls it the Xmas tree - so did I the first time I saw them. They are kinda purrrdy though.

I have owned a 1986 Goldwing Interstate and a 1989 Yamaha Venture. The 1500 I now own is a better bike than either of these. Not that they were bad machines the 1500 is just better.

i also have a gl 1200 a, had a gl 1100, a gl 1500 se, a venture 1300, a hd 1340 ultra glide. for me there is no better between these bikes. they all have pros and contras. it just depends on the needs and preferences. they all were / are reliable, confortable.
