Well I seem to be having an issue removing the clevis. If I hold the nut on the rod (to the left of the clevis) and turn the nut on the clevis, the rod turns inside the nut on the rod, trying to create new threads (ie strip the mess) but the clevis nut will not un-thread. I've used a nut release liquid without luck. The only 2 other things I can think of is heat the clevis, see if that frees it, or grab the rod with vice grips, to prevent the rod from turning (it'll leave a mark).

Anyone had something like this and had a success doing something?

Thanks in advance

?? Are you thinking the nut directly against the clevis is part of the clevis? From the looks of it, and from MOST set-ups I've seen like this, you should be holding the clevis itself, and backing off on that nut that is directly next to it....the clevis itself should be threaded, and the nut immediately to the left is a "lock" nut...
