i have bring focas to the man that thought up the grab bar runner system for the type 4 vw manifold ... it is not the easiest to do as the stainless steel is hard to drill and is thin .... i messed a set up trying to get to fancy in looks ...finally came to senses and did what was best for hooch with what i had ....

so as for me .. i cant say enough how solid and trouble free the system been ... since i got it all dialed in ...

with the way we go about things here and especially on seingle carb deal the openess of the forum to new ideas ... brought this to me to try ... what a big boost it was to hooch ....once i got to absolutely no leaks and stay that way ... icould actually get carb modded like it needed to be for the hooch build

so again this is to keith .... i am a beleaver in the shovelking induction system and my particular one with 1 1/2" runners wide open to heads ... something at the time i didnt think would work ... but he made it clear it did ... so i jumped on it when i could....this system eliminates the stock intake horns witch i think is a huge source of possible leaks ... this takes them off the table

this is not to discount other systems or carbs ... just a big thanks to keith as he dont post much and i want people to know his input. hope he see this and posts ... his bike is a stock 1100 with the tom carb that he got from reading here things work both ways ...he had been trying to get 32-36 weber to work ...actually i got that carb now ...thanks again keith ...shovelking

hmmmmm i think it will work eric .....there is brian who uses 1 1/4" grab bar runners ....just have to try ...i can say it for sure ...it not as hard as some made it out to be ...if one goes deep enough as it takes to dial one in .. ...doing up a good system ...like the shovelking grab bars induction ....gets things where its you and carb and no funny stuff leaking going on .....

Classy move on your part, Joe, for recognizing Shovelking. :good:

I used 1 1/4" grab rail runners on my single carb build and couldn't be happier, so owe Shovelking a big thanks. I never would have thought of using GRs if it weren't for him. :thanks:

Brian
