As you may or may not know, Vince (one of our moderators) passed away in December.

His wife is having a hard time and needs to start cleaning up the place of vehicles and all the parts he has collected over the years.
She doesn’t know the value of these things or what many of these parts are, and not computer savvy, she doesn’t know how to look these things up to put a price on them to list and sell.

I’m reaching out to the community here to ask if anyone has the resources and willingness to go to her place and help her out in Wintersville, Ohio. She understands that this would be asking a lot, and doesn’t want anyone feeling obligated to help, but would SURE appreciate it! I would go but I couldn’t afford the time off work or cost to make the trip.

I’ll be calling her later to help get on the forum.

It is also too far for me to take the trip, but any pictures taken of any part can easily be identified. We can at least get pictures by email and take a look and offer our opinions on pricing.

Might be helpful to give a location for those of us that don't remember where he lived.
Dumb mistake. I updated post 1 with her city and state. Wintersville Ohio.

May is probably correct.
I'm a little over 4 hrs from her. I will try to get over there later this year.

I will need a reminder, around the middle of April, from some one.

Keep in mind for anyone looking for an 84 Standard, she has two of them. One needs some work as one of the head gaskets was blown, but it did start before I took it to him

It still seems surreal to me that we will no longer experience that dry wit of a man that I had not met in person but enjoyed his company. It pleases me to think that other members will be able to help out as best they can where I will not be able too.

I'm sure I'll need everyone's help getting things sorted out. I'd like to get there as soon as possible to get an idea of what is there....take pictures of what I can. I can do this before the weather gets better. We can worry about getting the bikes running later.

Just got off the phone with Hanni....I'm going next weekend to get started. Going to start matching titles to the bikes. (sounds like there's a bunch of them). I'll get pictures of the parts & bikes & post them. Getting the Valk ready to sell seems the most important in order to get some money flowing her way...

Thank you for stepping up to help, bib.
