actually it happened yesterday
i was up before 06:00 this morning and started getting myself ready for an early morning ride to see how well my new electric socks worked. my boots are Alpinestar new land gore-tex boots so they are a little on the airy side and would be a real test for the sock ( i only wore the right sock ). the temp gauge on the Mighty ST 1300 was showing 46f, it was on the breezy side with the wind clocking in at 13mph, and very cloudy. the sock has three settings and after playing around with it some yesterday i knew i wanted it set on medium.

i took Shafer north then m-14 west, my plan was just to go up to Pontiac, MI then loop back to the Motor City, a trip of about 70 miles. i made a stop at Beaverland and m-14 and put $20 in the tank, i had two bars showing and about 0.68 of that $20 made it in the fuel cell. i was heading to the post office in Pontiac so us-24 north and m-59 east got me there, being early on a Sunday there wasn't much traffic and my foot was warm

leaving the train station i took M-1 south, the temp was up to 52f but that gusty breeze seemed to have picked up a few mph. i stopped just south of 7 mile cause they repainted this place right after i broke my foot

i back tracked to m-1 and headed to Linda's, on, i knew she would be ce downtown there were a lot of people walking around. i forgot that the lions had a game to loose today and everyone was out tail gating. Linda wasn't home but i had a nice visit with Dewey / Charles before heading to mom's. well mom wasn't home either, she was at the mall with Linda. from there i rode over to Sandra's, i knew she would be home decorating

That's a lot of an adventure in a day! Nice pics. Thanks for posting.

A cool adventure just the same. Likes to see more of your posts. So take good care of that foot.

Cheers!

thanks Angie. here in Michigan we are coming to the end of our riding season and thus ends my adventures too. i haven't gone through the new forum very much but most if not all my adventures are somewhere on the forum mostly in rides and rallies if you would like to read and see some of my past adventures

Oh I see! I did peek through some really nice older posts once in a while though. haha
