I have a 76 gl1000 resto in progress that just got on the Rd yesterday been working on it for 6months i restore antique Hondas and I'm a small engine mechanic but I need some tech info. I put an aftermarket temp gauge and sensor on this bike so I could read actual numbers the bike seems to run between 200 degrees to 210 Fahrenheit on a 95 degree day. So my question is is this normal? it seems hot to me does anyone have an actual number they could tell me

Also forgot this bike has 28,000 original miles new water pump new thermostat I flush the radiator myself but I haven't sent it to radiator shop timing is perfect new timing belts the whole bike been went through .carburetor is perfect I own a small engine shop so I'm very mechanically sound and I specialize in carbs
