i rode the GSA to henry's this morning with a plan to ride down to Toledo once they turned us loose. before leaving henry's i was talking to cousin jeff he said I should have taken the Mighty ST 1300 but I told him that the GSA was the real test for my foot, that if I could make it there and back without a foot problem things were truly getting better.
I left henry's about 14:35 and made my way over to I-94. a nice sunny 85f afternoon but a little breezy and traffic was kind of heavy too. I took I-94 west and I-275 south. around exit 11 it started to sprinkle off and on, thinking that it was going to rain soon I got off the expressway around exit 8 and headed west. I eventually made my way over to Oakville-waltz road and sumpter road so I made a left turn so I could get a pic at the abandoned gas station

it was still sprinkling on and off but I decided to head to Toledo anyway, I took sumpter rd. south and made a stop in Exeter, mi. before looping back around to I-275

I took I-275 south and took the us-24 ( telegraph rd. ) exit, I could have taken I-275 to I-75 but I was trying to rack up a few extra miles while testing my foot. heading into Monroe, mi. and just pass the m-50 junction it started raining, I pulled over at E. dunbar rd, and put the rain liner in my jacket. I really didn't want to ride to Toledo in the rain so I did an about face and headed for home on us-24. it stopped raining by the time I got to flat rock, mi. and by the time I got home it was once again sunny and 85f. I zeroed the tripometer before leaving henry's so here is my mileage for today

I had a nice early morning ride myself this morning. It has to be early here this time of year or things get toasty. To be honest, I am not a fan of riding in the rain, but that actually sounds pretty good these days.

As always William, nice ride report.

I usually don't mind riding in the rain but wasn't feeling it today and thanks!
