Good to hear Gerry, fingers crossed until it is collected and in its new home.

The new Owner picked her up today. She took one last bow and went on her way.

A lot of history with that bike. I remember when you first got it and your girls working on it with you. Kind of sad to see that end.

It is sad, but in the end I wouldn't trade all of the great memories and times spent with my girls restoring her, making changes over the years and of course the road trips and meet and greets. I also know that I have to know my limitations. I am not getting better with age and risking any further injury just doesn't make sense. Arthritis alone is a show stopper let alone herniated discs and knee issues. It has been quite a ride! :moped: :salute:

This is how I will remember it... I will always remember that trip. What started as just another trip became a ride with a friend.

Was that when going to the meet in French Lick at Joe’s place?

Yup. That was where we stopped at a camp site in West Virginia.

The slug did well!

:smilie_happy:

That was the reason I changed to this arrangement:

It was a lot safer than loading up the bike like that!

Brian, it sure was a great trip and one of the best rides I ever had! We will have to see what other 1100 parts you might need now that I do not need the spares anymore.
