I am measuring 24mm threads on the site glass but does anyone know the pitch? I am planning on making one just to see if I can..Thanks in advance..

Yeh, I measured it just with a metric ruler and it looks more like 1.5..but before I buy a die I will find a old type hardware store to confirm it..dan filipi":2xu0kcni said:littlebeaver":2xu0kcni said:No problem, I'll just pick up a thread gauge, thanks..
Take the plug into a hardware store, not Home Cheapo or Lowes, a real hardware store. (If you can find one anymore)
They should be able to tell ya.

I'll see about ordering the die then..I'm gonna make one for me first, better than the original, I'm gonna measure to the crank and make it so it bottom's out 1/16" above the crank..No oil hardly between the glass and the crank..That's the Littlebeaver way..Ha ha :smilie_happy: I bet ya it will work better.. :smilie_happy: I will have to test it and re- test it first.. :grin:dan filipi":3cnp9h37 said:Sure beav, I'll buy one.
