Yes,, I'm gonna shoot myself if I can't make it work now..geee what did I dooo   Kill me now and get it over with.. I do not wish to get into trouble selling these[copyright] if it works so I may take a donation for one instead of selling them..I wish to explain How I do it in detail, so the next guy can do one if he is wanting to,, the die should get here by friday I hope..It should work as planned I'm sure of it..

It's a great thing I have a great sense of humor and am very laid back and Not uptight, I have great news and some bad news the bad news is It's 25mm not 24mm, maybe I should put my freakin glasses on or something when I measure something and maybe the guy at the store needs to do the same thing, My die arrived today and I was excited but then I put the threaded part of my site glass into the die to match it up and it was too small, I need a 25mm I screwed up again, I guess I wouldn't be me if I didn't screw something up..The good news is the holesaw I ordered cut the lexan perfectly to fit the inside of the piping, I actually made one but I had to use some teflon to tighten it up but I am not going with that I wanta do it right..So, now I need to find a 25mm die with a 1.5 pitch...everything else looks great, my mom taught me patients,,,So I guess I will exercise it now..The folks at the place I got the die don't carry a 25mm die they go straight up to 27mm, Shoot.. But At least I know it's going to work good.. :Egyptian:

ooops I said site glass again... I found a 25 mm die in New York but I can't order it until monday, I'm happy again :music: I never give up on a project, someone over at the NGW site was talking about using pvc but there was no details on how they did it so I thought about it and I am going to try making one using a pvc adapter, the threads are 3/4", I want to say I have never seen one of the one's mentioned on that site...or anywhere else that's hand made, I'm sure they exist I just haven't seen them..Mine will look a lot like the oem one but different, the oem one has two glass fittings mine will have only one on the bottom, the oem one is aluminum, mine will be pvc, the oem has glass mine will have lexan..The person that mentioned this over there is freaking smart, my hat is off to him..I'm not trying to rip him off or anyone else, I always thought that we all share our findings with each other, If someone comes up with a cool way of doing something why not share it.. :music: If nobody ever did share ideas, where the heck would we be?

your absolutely right beav.
take it easy bro and be patient. we have all endured the "trial and error" method to gain knowledge.

I agree.
Building a better timing window isn't like building a better mouse trap.
In our case the first one is a joke.
Thank's guy's it's not going to be too much trouble to make these, anyone semi skilled like me will be able to make one, first thing is having the tools, I can actually start the photo process using what I have now because I have all ready made one and it is pretty nice but I want it right [threads], you will need a drill press and a 15/16" holesaw , then a bandsaw would be nice because you cut part of the pvc adapter off [hacksaw will work fine ha ha] at the top of the hex bolt part, I will should you in a photo, you will find things easier if you have a small 1" belt sander, I'm a crafter so I have all this stuff, I'm sure most of you will have some of it, you can hand sand it no a problem don't have to have it.. A good vise is a must..a hand drill with a 1/16" drill bit a small piece of lexan I gotta small 8x10" sheet of lexan it's like 1/8" thick ...The belt sander is used to take down the threads on the 3/4" adapter to nothing so there are no threads showing, the vise is to hold the adapter while using the die, do not tighten too much or you will squash the adapter then you won't round threads ha ha, the holesaw is to cut the lexan for a site glass, the handdrill with 1/16" bit is so when I glue in the lexan I put two screw eyes in to hold the glass in place so there's NO way it could fall out, I simply cut off the shaft of the screweye flush leaving nothing but a shiney spot,..I place a o-ring at the top of the threads like the oem one..I will post photo's as I go but I want to complete one and master the process first..I think it's gonna work..
