or drinkin... :ahem:
New bossman went last Friday and bought one of these. Brand spankin new @ $26,000+.

Weirdest dang thing I've seen in a looong time. 4cyl Chevy engine, 5 speed trans, belt drive. The conversion from the trans to the belt drive is pretty neat, tho. Trans output goes to a mini-differential, then out the right side to the front belt pulley. Slick. No rear fender is gunna be a pita, tho....somebuddy's gunna git wet! :smilie_happy:

:hihihi: Uh...no. Click on the pic...it will take you to the home site for these. :hihihi:

It's a Polaris Slingshot...

Funny thing about that unit, it has less storage than my 1100!! Our local Honda dealer sells them and I checked it out. I can think of many more vehicles I could buy for $26k!!

They must be fun to drive but so is a good used 328 or a C6....but Hey!..Its only money.
By the way wasn't it Texas that did not want them on the road or something.

+1 and if will probably be closer to $40k AUD :whistling:

Saw those at a cycle show last winter and couldn't understand why anyone would buy it. If you're going to drive a trike, buy a trike. However, the Polaris is cheaper than a new Harley or Honda trike.

+10 on the fugly!

Not my cup of tea either, :nea: but if a three wheel bike were the only choice, then two wheels in the front, please!!! :smilie_happy:

That's a 3 wheeled car! it has a steering wheel and you sit in it. The CanAm on the other hand is a true reverse trike, you sit on it and it has handlebars. Ive ridden CamAm's and they are a lot of fun, might even consider getting one when I cant hold up a 2 wheeler anymore. Now if you want a 3 wheeled roadster like that the T REX is the one to have they will do 200mph and handle like an Indy car.

not for me, i could never pretend i was riding a bike...or Trike , with a Steering Wheel. i know a guy in the Camping club with one of the Stallions ( 3 wheeler with 2,300 cc Ford Motor and Trans , with a steering wheel , i think they was onlt made a very few years . . he loved his , but ... the steering wheel did it in for me. :laptop:
