Thanks for looking Mike, but I don't think it's that Thanks Dan, I'm assuming I've done something wrong so got it all over the bench. Giving it overwhelming thought

    Clutch solid

Hi Dan The pin is there ok. Got the whole assembly laid out on the bench, no apparent faults. The little cam plate and adjuster is all free and good, the cable is new, as are the plates, the lifter plate, the pressure plate. Removed plate B and replaced with 2 standard plates.

    Clutch solid

Hi. Carefully dismantled and rebuilt the clutch. Everything looked ok. Fitted the cable and tried it but got no movement at all. Pulled it apart and it's now on the bench but can't see anything wrong. Can anyone advise on what could be wrong?

    MAKING A TRIKE

Been a while since my last post post but work still progresses. Biggest job nearly sorted now is the clutch. I made a new pressure plate but left out a small but vital turning step. Sorted now and assembly slowly proceeds. But for some reason the cable attachment lever is now not correctly...

    MAKING A TRIKE

A nice winters job sitting by the Aga, although I had to brave the cold to turn down a piece of badly sawn 3x10. Cavity cut for seating the Rev counter assembly. It is held together by a thin, spun collar that I prised open to dismantle it. I carefully dressed the collar using a drift to...

    MAKING A TRIKE

FUEL LINE Looking forward from the back: Stripey gold thing at top is the tank, red wheel the on/off tap, fuel line standard stuff, runs forward. Stainless pipe clamps. Running forward to the inline filter. Where your fuel tank sits is my battery box. I will strap the fuel line to the...

    MAKING A TRIKE

you probably wouldn't believe me if I said I have been on the electrics for 13 months and this is what I have to show for it. Not a pretty sight, not helped by having added a pile of wires to split the headlights horn and indicators and extra stuff like the starter switch and voltmeter. I shall...
