[QUOTE="travis, post: 100451, member: 1836"] Hi. I know its been a while and a lot has changed, fuel injection is still working fine. I changed from Dodge Neon coil to Ford EDIS ignition and coil because my ECU will talk with it and I can set my timing to what ever I want it to be. I was having problems with the fan switch, so I am going to let the ECU control that as well, that way I can control the fan to come on and off at the temperature that I want it to be. I have had the Stator out 4 times now, the first stator change was a Nish brand and I could not get it to put out 200w, they warrantied that one with no problem. The next time Was when I had to pull the motor because the shaft that turns the ignition broke the locating pin that goes into the crank, the coil windings were burnt like it had been in a fire, so I had a good used one to try next. Now about 6000 miles later it stopped working as well, so now I have another bran new one on order, different brand. I am still not convinced on going to a poor boy conversion. I have posted a bunch of pictures of the conversion and in the next couple of days I will add a description to them. Fuel Injection is a lot of work but I still think its the way to go.
