Yes, this is when a trip on a bike can get scary, especially alone.

I prefer late night riding myself. Less traffic makes me more comfortable.

I don't know if Wes posted a confirmed number joining up but there were supposed to be at least a couple if I remember.

The camp has been set up at least with 1 hour of light left. No nite riding out here-too far away from a hospital.

In Jan I had about 10 bikes saying yes
today only 1 is going to meet us at gnp who originally said was going.
met lades from Chicago who is original ally front cz.

So it appears I got my wish of even number of bikes

I had a lot more on post but got lost somehow.
I hit a sparrow 9 miles from home. 2 deer standing in the road in n.dakota. a bunny rabbit stopped by our camp yesterday. That s all the wildlife so far.

Stopped in minneapolis at a friends place for the night.
we went from Minnesota to Wyoming in a day.
bike had a wag. Went to wally world and got 2 8 inch wheels thinking the back of the trailer was too high and pushing the bike. Left 2 12in wheels with 500 miles in the parking lot. Helped but did not solve. Stopped at Menard and got 2 u-bolts. Now I am running at 5500rpm and running like a well oiled sewing machine.
4 hours to gnp. Getting new batteries for tracker, get y ING my head shaved, and getting groceries here in havre Mont today.

In Wisconsin we made it to gas when 1/2 hour downpour.another bike there was also heading to alaska. So 3 of us have been riding together. One person who in the beginning said he was going is meeting us at gnp. So 4 bikes. And I got my wish of an even number of bikes.

2 ubolts were to stabilize my hitch. It was swaying. After put on u bolts it stopped.

Pics will have to wait. Very slow connection.
