Turd still goes. If the 89 is cheap enough I'd probably go for it and clean the carbs. Otherwise I'd still jump on that first one.

Oh I love the color on that one! Might just be the solenoid or a dirty connector. If that were close to me I'd already be going to look at it.

Goin to check THIS ONE out Sunday. Lot o miles, but new tires. :hihihi: Guy is in his '60s, bad knee & hip....can't ride anymore. Said he would get on it and ride anywhere and not worry about any problems with the bike. At least he still HAS IT... :Awe: :hihihi: Can't check it out until Sunday...he's goin to the GUN SHOW tomorrow...all day. :whistling:

Might run out and look at THIS ONE tomorrow. Got some fairing damage, and it doesn't have the CB or air compressor set-up(it's an Interstate, not Aspy). Missing some stuff, but he's throwin in a bunch of extra stuff with it. Not really a fan of the color, tho.

Mama kinda squealed a little on THIS ONE....might be a bit over my spending limit.... :smilie_happy: I talked to this guy today. He's 62, with bad knees too. Can't ride anymore. Really nice bike, but he's just too proud of it for me...or should I say for Mama... :hihihi:

I REALLY wanna new ride this weekend....but I REALLY don't wanna pull the trigger on one, and then be disappointed.....this is likely to be my Christmas/birthday gift for the next 10 years.... :smilie_happy:

Is 100,000 really a lot of miles on a well cared for 1500? My '81 has about that on it now, best I can tell.
