Looks like a fun project to follow along.

If you put the pictures in your gallery album, it will be easier to refer back to them later as needed, and also link off site if you need to.

The mechanic in town, I have never met. Said he has some old yamahas and hondas so i'm curious to see those. Heard his rates are very reasonable too. He mentioned that if there happen to be any missing parts he can get them. I don't know where he shops since I can't find any parts for this thing :head bang: 1967 is a long time ago, actually, its my birth year so maybe this was destiny :salute:
I have not forgotten about "The Wanderer". Follow that post when the new seat comes in ............

Looks like a new sculpture!

Guess what?? You just helped me to name him, Here he is, I named him "Michelangelo"

Or Mikey for short? It will be like creating a work of art to get that collection of parts working together as it should. I think it will be a blast to ride though.

"Mikey" is better. I'm going with that :clapping:

Original 1967 tires! Getting a thorough cleaning!! They hold air too.

You better slow down or this will not be a winter project.

I know..............patience is not my thing . Engine goes to mechanic today. I'm going to take some pics of the old bikes he has :music:

This is a tricky project. The front forks is a weird setup but I finally rebuilt and installed. The install was not easy either!! New tire on back.
I saw one of these listed in NJ for $8,000. I have the original title, tool kit and manual. Seat is like new too.

Looks like a hard choice on your part coming up, as to keep, or sell, when your done.

It would be hard to have what I call a play bike. Going from a wing to that would be hard. Now, if you have a youngen' around that needs to learn how to ride that would be a different story.

My first bike was a Suzuki 150 twin two stroke ...they were very few made ..
Sure wish I could find one of those to have ...it was like a 66yr bike if a remember right ..
You had to mix the gas yourself ....
