Dropped some damaging items on the same foot. Both times mashing the big toe. Lost the nail after one. Took about a year to grow back. Walk careful bud!

Jeez Louis, didja hafta throw that out there!? Mother McCree and General Jackson. Drive the dang car for a week or so, willya? Dang. I've seen some bad schidt on this forum, but that there ranks right up there. Hayell.

Hurts me to look at that! Hope you get right again soon!

Thanks again guys, I'm taking the cager with Janet tomorrow because our shifts start at the same time. I'll just have to go back and get her later because I work 5-8's and she 3-12's. I have to do a better job of taping her up, lost a piece and the left curb light started bouncing off my left boot! :smilie_happy: on the freeway home. The leaking clutch slave cylinder is pissing me off anyway.

So she is parked until at least this weekend when I can really access the damage and make a repair plan.

This may sound sick but I'm a little jazzed. Just how well can I fix her up on my usual shoestring budget.

When I said to take care of yourself Randy I didn’t expect more wounds and damages. :whistling:
No more injuries please... :beg:

Ya need to add "and she hurt me back" to the title of this thread... :hihihi:
(too soon?)

Hang in there O-man. I gotta take the Turd for inspection this weekend, so that Murphy feller is prolly already on the fast train to Texas by now.

Luckily 1500 parts are plentiful. Yours, not so much. How about let the body heal a bit before fixing your dance partner? Or at least, pull the less painful to get Tupperware and do the gluing while your bones knit some. How in the world can you nurse with broken ribs & toes? That's a pretty physical profession.

Haven't been on her since Wednesday and it'll be a while before I do again. The foot has sidelined riding for now. As for work? I get by, been doing it with the damage it does to your body for years.

Meh, we are already in the hundreds here anyway so the cager isn't that bad, super cold AC

One thing pisses me off though, I wear my safety gear(full helmet, jackets mesh/leather, gloves) faithfully even when it's blazing out and I never thought I needed steel toe boots. :sensored:

I wear my steel caps when I am riding to work or job sites but they are not recommended as riding gear. Clumsy to work controls and if you crush the steel toe cap the injuries can be more traumatic than the actual crush.
