Made a run out to Tortilla Flat today with another 'Winger. Two words: Spectacular ride. Another two words: Traffic sucks.

The Flat is an old stagecoach stop on the Apache Trail in the Superstition Mountains. Neat place. But, the open desert is neater. No murals out here...

My buddy put his aux tanks to good use and saved a poor squid's bacon. Young pup on an R6 was out of gas out there. Dumb. Easy to drain off a coupla quarts and get the dummy on his way.

Plenty of room for you and Hooch, Joe, if you ever swing by. These low desert roads are best traveled between September and May. May and September if you don’t mind a little warmth. June, July, and August if you have a death wish.
