Solar panels on the lid? :headscratch:

i was thinkin of that. how big of one would i need?
 
I doubt you can mount enough solar panels to carry the load. Unless they've really increased output since I looked at them.
 
the only things runnin in the front running lights(no headlight) and the tail light.if the solar panel can maintain what the bike is using
 
Solar panels do not generate much power for their size. A 120w (10a at 12v) panel is usually about 40 x 20 inches.

i finally got some 83 wheels. like um alot :yahoo: . but ,the speedO drive on the 83 wheel doesnt work. i tried the 81 drive in the 83 wheel and it binds up. is some spacer needed to run the 81 in the 83 wheel?? one more thing, what are the wires for comming outa the back of the 83 speedometer?? my 81 doesnt have um

i just found out my 81 speedO drive only fits 80 ta 82....thanks Dan

and the 83 drive only fits the 83 GW, BUT also fits other honda models
 
Some years are comprised with many single year bits & pieces, 83, & 84 are 2 many unique part example years.
