Hello All just want to introduce my self here. I just got a 1981 GL1100 which will be my winter project! Here in south Arizona all year is good for rideing but let just call it winter project. Can wait to ride the iron horse. It has been long since I rode a my fathers GW, now I got mine!
Well see you around! Thanks!

Hope you enjoy the forum, good place to be. Post a pic or two of the bike. I read magazines for the pictures.

nice bike

Thanks! :good:
It needs some work. I'm waiting on the parts I ordered to get it on rideing mode! :moped: :music:

Here is a little list I'm going to work on:
-Rebuild carbs
-Rebuild Front and Rear Master Cylinders
-Rebuild Front and Rear Calipers
-Clean the fuel system (Tank, new fuel filter) and maybe new fuel lines if needed.
-New blood! (oil)
-New oil to the shaft drive!
-New tyres
-New seat

Planning to tackle these on the next 2 or 3 months! wish me Luck!!!
