Yes with as much ATF or penetrating oil as you can get in there. With the rockers on some of the valve may still be slightly open. Probably a good idea to remove the exhaust. and put a pan under the exhaust ports.

I might be getting ahead of myself, but i can see some AFT under the cylinder that has the problem coming from a bolt on the exhaust. Is that a good sign?

Looks like the rocker that won't move is still in contact with the valve spring so that would prevent any motion. ATF underneath means it's full enough in that cylinder some has gotten past the valve.

If any of the ATF went into the little drain hole, right next to the spark plug hole, it will drip onto the exhaust header, and probably run down the bolt you're talking about.

UPDATE. So i have a small drip coming from the bottom of the exhaust.

Is it possibly time to take the rockers ect. Off and see whats going on?

Looks to me like it needs a good run. While you're out check the color of the exhaust. Might have some valve seals seeping.

Ahh yes excuse me for not recalling just which motor we are working on here. This the one we are trying to free up! A little oil was going to get past the valves because they aren't all shut. Going to be a blue cloud out of that exhaust once it starts.

I was figuring about as much with all the fluid im putting into the cylinder. Once i get some time to work on it again, il try to rock it free. Maybe all this time sitting will finally be what it needs

Will that harm the starter/engine? Doesnt that put alot of torque through the engine?
It does. I think he meant to do that once you get the motor free just to clear the fluids from the cylinders. Bump it free first.

oh ..ithought it was just hydro lock with gas ..if it was just that ..taking plugs out gives place for gas to go ..out the plug holes ...it it stuck for another reason work it by hand ..sorry ... :whistling:
