Well went for a 100 mile ride today. I can see I need to cut the studs on the t-bolt clamps down about 1/2", so I stop putting grooves in the road. Went out to Point Reyes, enjoying the twisties a bit too much. Bad bad me. Bike is running really fine. The center stand did not drag once. but it must have been close.

Oh I have one more thing to my repair list. Ok two counting cutting the t-bolt studs. The circuit feeding the taillight/instrument bulbs has a mild short in it. I suspect its along the rear under the seat where the DPO, spliced in the Vetter wiring for the rear trunk. But I don't ride at night so for now I'll live without a fuse.

The bike sounds good, with just a hint of harley rumble. Not bad at all.

Fun day.
