They always have some rear brake applied and the clutch just at the point of engagement never fully engaged. I watched a training video on this last year.

i was up in flint, mi last summer watching the cops on a simular riding course when one of the cops walks up to me and starts to brag. i told him that i would love to see him do the course on my bike and pointed to a 1500 wing that was parked near by. those big harleys and even my 1200 wing are short in compairison to my 1500 wing. the course is do-able but the cones would have to be moved
