battery life

the wife and I went for a ride today, me on the wing and she on the 2006 shadow. we got to the next town over and her oil light came on, after shutting off the bike I checked the oil and all was fine. tried starting the bike up and nothing battery was stone cold dead.. I turned around and went home and loaded up the truck and trailer and drove back to pick up bike and wife. I'm just surprised that the battery lasted 7 yrs ( I guess good maintenance pays off) . even though our ride was cut short it was still nice to get out and ride. :rocks:

Excellent battery life, unfortunately those stories are few and far between nowdays.

That is excellent battery life, I replace mine every four years and only use AGM. You are so right about proper maintenance paying off.

i always keep both motorcycles on slow charge if we don't ride much, have a yuasa charger and a jr tender. both r great and never give any problems. also use a 12 v solar charger on rv battery over winter.
